Chief Executive Officer
Mike has spent his entire career in healthcare, bringing passion to every role. His ability to identify problems, develop solutions and lead positive change, led him to found RemedyOne. Mike began his career as a Financial Analyst at Oxford Health Plans, learning the basics of managed care, and how healthcare was paid for through both self-insured and fully insured plans. He added responsibilities that led to playing key roles in a major company reorganization, provider network management, cost containment, pharmacy management and claims systems.
He was a key executive on the transition team when United Healthcare acquired Oxford. After streamlining that acquisition, Mike moved to Magellan Health Services. There, he was instrumental in integrating their acquisition of ICORE Healthcare, a company focused on solving specialty pharmacy challenges.
At Magellan, Mike led the development of a Medical Pharmacy Program that fixed many problems with drugs paid on the medical benefit. This large-scale solution included technology, physician reimbursement and clinical reviews – taking solution-based healthcare thinking to another level. Mike’s problem-solving vision extended to his leadership as the president of ICORE Healthcare for Magellan. ICORE’s product’s included rebate management, specialty pharmacy mail services and medical pharmacy management programs.
